Little Rock Scripture Study: Isaiah will be studied beginning September 2019 on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 10am and Thursday evenings at 7:30pm.

Book Clubs:

Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month, September through June at 1:15pm in Room C-104.


Men’s chapter of Christians in Commerce: meet every Wednesday for prayer, teaching, small group discussion and fellowship from 7-8am in the Choir Room at ST. MARK. Please contact Jerry Wilkowski at 703-255-9083 for more information.


Cursillo Weekends: The Cursillo is an opportunity to examine and celebrate yourself, your relationship with Christ and your relationship with the Christian community. The upcoming men’s weekend will be held fall 2019. Date and location TBD. The upcoming women’s weekend will be held on September 5-8, 2019 at Washington Retreat House in Washington DC. Please go to the Cursillo website to get up to date information about Cursillo dates. After the Cursillo weekend you meet with other Cursillistas for a weekly reunion. There are also all-community gatherings periodically throughout the year.


Online Courses:  There are also very good online classes from Boston College called “Crossroads” which are inexpensive and excellent.  Upcoming courses include: online book clubs, Spirituality and Prayer, Sacred Scripture, The Moral Life, and Themes from Our Christian Tradition. Special Event on September 22, 2019:  Mr. Walt Grazer will present a talk on “Migration and Climate Change” after the 11:45 Mass.  Mr. Grazer is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University in the Catholic Studies Program. Most recently, he was a consultant and special adviser to the National Religious Partnership for the Environment. Formerly, he served in several positions with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).  There will be a light lunch provided after Mass.
